The winner for the Simon Devitt prize for photography (held at the Auckland University School of Architecture and Planning) 2011 is Natalee Yee Wei Tan for her photograph ‘building blocks’.
The theme this year was ‘legacy’, Natalee receives $1000 and her name engraved on the SDPP cup for a year. Congratulations Natalee.
Natalee’s winning photograph is a shot of DMA Architect Mike Hartley and son (‘little’) Cam on a Site Visit to Lucerne – a DMA home under construction in Remuera, Auckland. Daniel was tutoring a design paper – “Explosive & Exploded Space” – at the time. The students were invited to site as part of the paper.
